The strength of the nation lies with the individual
That each person's dignity, freedom, ability and responsibility must be honored
In equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all
Government, at all levels, must be fiscally responsible
Americans should keep more of the money they earn
The most effective and responsible government is the government closest to the people
In working for peace, freedom, and human rights around the world
The best goverment is the government that governs the least
Government should provide only those functions that cannot be provided individually
In DEMOCRACY, of the people, by the people and for the people

Chairman's Corner
Independence Day
I watched a report on Fox News this morning about the Statue of Liberty and it's re-opening. If you haven't visited the Statue, it should be on your wish list as it reminds us of what this country is about - liberty, freedom and unalienable rights. Ellis Island is right there so it makes a great day of seeing the sights and thinking about what we have as the greatest county on earth.
Some of our liberties and freedoms are slowly being taken away and we all need to be on guard to make sure we preserve what those wise men and women fought for 233 years ago.
As we celebrate this Independence Day, let's also remember those that have served and sacrificed since we declared independence and those that serve now.
There are number of Tea Parties around Colorado on the 4th, if you want to make your voice heard. I've included a list below.
